BRIDE VALLEY BRUT RESERVE

Vineyard founder Steven Spurrier had alwayswanted to make a Grand Cru Champagne-style wine, and the quality of the Pinot Noir grapes in the 2018 harvest allowed him to do so for the first time.

This vintage of Brut Reserve is a move away from its predecessors into that Grand Cru style; the blend is now purely chardonnay and pinot noir.

An elegantly floral nose of elderflower and blossom with soft layers of wild strawberries, mirabelles, fennel and crunchy white currants.

Crisp and elegantly refined with zingy gooseberry and minerality, stewed apple and a creamy mousse displaying hints of buttery brioche on the zesty lemon finish.
